If the League will not take care of it then the Rockets should take care of it. Like Yao said we will fight back.
Someone who knows the Lakers' fan forum go see what the Faker fans are saying or dismissing about D-B*tch's dirty play, please.
Only reason I am a fan of the Rockets but not the NBA in whole. Superstar treatment and incompetent refs have ruined the game for me.
It's amazing how many Laker fans are so excited about the elbow by Fisher on Scola...I mean REALLY happy. Reading all their crap really makes me wish karma would come back and bite them in the ass (or ACL, or MCL, or c7/t1, or, etc.) What a bunch of classless morons.
I hope that woke Scola up. The guy play like a p***y in this game. He was the main reason we lost the 3rd quarter. Got blocked twice with 2 TO. Missed 2 easy layup and missed 3 more shots that got the Lakers up by 8 right at the start of the third.
It wasn't to the head. It was to his chest. Ron said it was to his neck, but the replays seem to show it going to his chest. He should be given a flagrant for that though. And he should be watched more closely by the referees the rest of the series.
Howard turned around and did it well after the play was over. Kobe did it with his back to Artest in the middle of a play. It wasn't quite as blatant. You can't argue that Howard's was inadvertent and part of a basketball play because the ball was dead. The Kobe play is more ambiguous an you can argue he was just trying to clear out. I don't agree with that, but that arguement is available where it wasn't for the Howard elbow.
At LakersGround they refer to Fisher as the anti-guard lol. If you're a Rockets fan, you don't want him suspended. He's just not that good anymore.
We might as well play mind game with Fisher. Get Scola on TV to say he wish Fisher can play the game. He's too old and can't shot for squat anyways. Then watch Fisher chuck 20 shots each in game 4 and 5
TNT replayed the Kobe's elbow about 4 times and Kenny and Charles both agreed it was to Artest's throat not his chest. Either way the league will never see it that way.
Actually when I saw Fisher did that, I was like, "What was he thinking?" I still don't know why he did that. Was it because of Scola's earlier thing with Odom and Walton? That shouldn't be serious enough for displaying such blatant tackle.
In my opinion, it should be a two game suspension because it was obviously premeditated. He probably get one though. There is a difference between throwing an elbow when you are frustrated and going after a guy on a set play.
Most of them are glad it happened. Their excuses: "Its playoff basketball" or "We been told the Lakers are soft." How does this cheap stuff make them physical?
