Is your arm tingly like your skin is cooking or something? A friend of mine was once almost struck outside his house when lightning hit a couple of feet from him. He said his arms and legs felt tingly, like when you leave your arm out the your car window for a good while with the sun hitting hard.
few months ago im talking to my mom and im abt to hang up and she goes "hey i forgot to tell you your brother got struck by lightning yesterday" i was like wtf! apparently he and his wife were out on a boat in the bay and he was holding the pole as the they were tying the boat back to the deck or something (been a while can't remember now) but anyways it struck his hand at the pole. crazy thing is, my brother and i were in the middle of a fight, i hadnt spoken to him since getting so pissed off at him that i left vegas at 6 am and flew back to austin
It could be a sign from God that you are getting too addicted to the game. OTOH Retief Goodson has been hit by lightning twice and it rewired his nervous system where he emotionlessly won two US Opens. I think Lee Trevino has been struck too. If you have kids, just make sure your life insurance is adequate. My buddy the Head Pro at River Ridge saw a guy get hit on the golf course. He said it literally blew his eyeballs out of his head. Needless to say when we play together, we quit at the first boom.
I thought about that afterward. Yes, that's why he made his famous "Not even God could hit a 1-iron" quote. I don't have kids, but if I die, it'll really help my parents' retirement fund. Yeah, I'll do the same from now on out. It wasn't enough to really hurt, but it was definitely enough to scare me out of risking that again.
so how are you feeling? scary, I know we've pushed it a few times on the course so I dont like hearing this
