If we bringing a back old coaches bring back Adelman. He’s the only coach that’s blown me away for Houston. I really enjoyed Adelman as a coach.

MDA is too buddy-buddy with the players. JVG will at least instill discipline in them and a system that can adapt and make adjustments as needed. As soon as the players see the bags under JVG's eyes they'll know we gotta play harder.

Like everyone else, love JVG as a commentator...
    Houstonian through and through..

I was ready for him to go by the end of his first run.

But, it's time to bring him back. Hold guys accountable...fockass on defense...

The offense will be there with James & Co.

MDA made me a believer. We were robbed of a title on his watch. I have The utmost respect for him, but he's gone.

    JVG! JVG!JVG!

    I mean whatever.

Coaching is not really an issue, it's the garbage roster, but might as well polish this turd.

I think after all these years of broadcasting and watching how others teams evolved their offense, JVG probably have changed a lot of his offensive philosophy.

Hasn't JVG already coached Harden as part of team USA?

Can we use double coach? Also employ his brother as coach.

If Stan wants to be our dribbling coach. Little better bball handles won't hurt anyone, cuts down on TOs.

He hasn’t been a coach in 15 years.... James Harden was a sophomore in high school the last time he was coaching.

He would seem to be a lazy hire in some regards.

The positive I will say about him is that he is the type of person to establish a culture of accountability, toughness and playing hard and smart. Look at the assistant coaches he has had and you will see that culture carried over.

I would love for him to be hired as President of the team where he overseas the day to day of the organization from player development, preparation, coaching performance.

Still I think fans forget he had some serious flaws. There is a reason he hasn’t coached in so long.

I like him as a commentator but I was ready to move on from him back in the day. The Rockets should go after a guy like Billy Donovan. Good gracious, they’d be fools to not go after him.
