He will excel if he plays with Jason Kidd. See Kenyon Martin...

Answer me this: What makes you think he has talent? He's never demonstrated any talent since joining the NBA. His only "talent" is leaping ability.

And I don't care who he plays with. We all know Jason Kidd made Kenyon Martin a lot of money. But Stro isn't half the player Kenyon Martin was before he got injured. K-Mart was pretty good and Kidd made him seem like a budding superstar. Stro is a complete dog and even Kidd can't turn Stro into a thoroughbred.

bad contract for bad contract. basically same money, same years.. i can't tell which franchise is getting dealt the upperhand.

grizz get a terrible player and terrible contract in collins but at least he can stay relatively healthy.

nets gets a player who can play very sometimes but is injured every other game. if he stays healthy he is a valuable asset to any team but for stro he can only hope to stay potentially healthy.

this seems likr a head scratcher considering the nets situation. their young players boone and sean williams are doing well. while nenad is near the end of his recovery from surgery.

Now this barely makes any sense, why would they trade away Stromile (Who if was a headcase the Grizzlies could've just put him on the inactive list and let him have a paid vacation), as an expiring, for a 12 million/2 year player? The purpose of the Gasol trade was to get rid of salary and sell the team. But now they added more salary?

Is New Jersey planning to compete in high jump? As little as Jason Collins gives you on the floor, I still think he's better than Stromile.

Collins can nab you a 2nd round pick? Dude? He has some skills, but given his salary, you have to give up a pick to move his contract for a shorter deal.

I don't understand why they trade for Stromile, when they have a better athletic power forward that can block shots in Sean Williams. Stromile is the gimp version of Williams.

And what does that make Jason Collins and the 1 pt and 2 boards a game he was giving them? Whether Swift can give them more than Collins is the point, and mentally-challenged or no, Swift is twice the player Collins is.

This Memphis salary purge is crazy.

Darko has to be on the block, as well as Mike Miller. Best of luck to them finding takers for Brian Cardinal and his $6 mill a year.
