WOW. I come home from a nice Sunday night dinner with the folks and load up my PC to find that I have two pieces of mail from Clutch as he sent me carbon copies of his emails to Ketner. I decided to run over here to find out whats going on and found this nice thread. I, Pickledunk, am founder of Grizzball.com and am sole controller. While Kertner submits stuff to me, he in no ways represents Grizzball in any formal copacity. Grizzball came about because I had admired what Clutch had done with this site and decided to try and do the same. I have sent Clutch emails in the past and have always been respectful, complementry and encouraging. As for the Grizzball BBS I would like to ask you that you dont SPAM it as it doesn't effect Kertner but effects me. We already have many Houston fans who post on our board and I have never shown any disrespect. As for him having a Grizzball email, anyone can have one because of Everyone.net allows sites to set up free email servers with your domain name. I apologize to all of you who somehow blame my site for this thread. BTW Only I and one other can delete/edit/moderate the Grizzball board and Kertner is not one of them nor anyone he would know (I phoned other moderator and he had no idea that any of this was taking place) Clutch I will be sending you an email to ask you some questions. I just double checked to see if he has admin powers and he doesnt. But I noticed that the thread you had all posted in before was called Clutchity and Kertner had started it with his apology. I allow people to delete there own posts and since you all replyed to his post I believe what happened was that he deleterd his post and if you delete the first post it wipes out the thread. I will be deleting that last thread though as I am hoping this issue is now dead. Sorry again guys. Well said pickled... thanks for posting. I CC:ed you on the emails because I knew you ran the site and we have had conversations before. As for individual posts being deleted there, that I don't know. But if your board has delete capabilities on for users' own posts, I'm sure Ketner just removed his own threads after it got a little hot/heavy. Initially this irked me so I posted, but it wouldn't have been that big of a deal if the dude had just 'fessed up/apologized -- defused the bomb instead of fanning the flames. Behad, That is why we should show some class when posting in enemy lands. Just because they send over their stupid, doesn't mean we should go over there and imitate. Be forewarned that there will be others that land on the CC BBS shore and some will be decent folk, while the others will be garbage waiting to be disposed.
