Everything that StroShow got in this thread, he had coming to him. The guy started the thread out so innocently, and he neglected to put one small detail in his original post. When some of us commented on it, he lied and claimed that he had typed it correctly (after he edited it), then went on a tirade calling everyone "faggots", and generally making no sense. He insulted Steve Francis (baselessly), the Rockets, their mascot, our uniforms (how easy is that?), and Houston fans in general. He had no real evidence, he was just spouting insults, and he asked for it. We gave it to him. Behad, I didn't say we acted foolish on the Grizz BBS, but there have been instances in the past of CC BBS regulars creating havoc elsewhere for the fun of it. I can see where it might be implied we were foolish Sunday night, but that was not my intent to imply it. I had a few typical "Mango" posts on their BBS, but it didn't feel the same as being here. Actually Mango, i did post something a little immature. It was on the "never-ending thread" where everyone is supposed to post one word making a story. So in mid story, i posted "Franchise Rules!!!". That pretty much put an end to that thread. ------------------ The next time I have meat and mashed potatoes, I think I'll put a very large blob of potatoes on my plate with just a little piece of meat. And if someone asks me why i didn't get more meat, ill just say, "Oh, you mean this?" and pull out a big piece of meat from inside the blob of potatoes, where ive hidden it. Good magic trick, huh?
Oh, I wasn't saying you guys did. It's just that I've seen in several threads on this BBS people say "let's go to [pick a board] and return the favor"! This board is pretty tame and fairly intelligent (and even moreso when Rockets03 goes on summer vacation), and it'd be a pity to have this place turn into a ESPN-type bashfest.
