Nobody is talking **** about Rudy, I don't see one negative thing said about him in this thread, besides what you said about him shining in 3 years. He is a great player now. You don't have to wait 3 years, you have to admit it. He is doing great at this moment. Rudy Gay for ROY.

This thread is about the trade that Riley rejected because he didn't want Stromile included with Atkins.

There is a Rudy Gay thread about his monster game against Indy further on this board somewhere about his great game against Indy right before the All-Star break. He is shining brightly.

Hopefully Tmac's back will hold up for 3 years and we will have another Rockets championship in place by then.

Roy is the ROY. He has no legitimate competition for the award.

Well gosh, why can't you look past the "rubbing" we do and quit taking it so personal? I mean, if we find that you change your opinion from week to week on a topic, we should be able to bust you on it, right? We're not attacking you, we're attacking the fact you take several sides to an argument every month and point back at the one that may have been right and say "look at me, I M SMRT I M SMRT".

Everyone stop picking on DaDakota. Granted he has never been right once about anything he has said, but he is still a Rockets fan just like the rest of us. Dont worry DaDa, I got ya back!

Nah, at some point he's right about what he says... of course he's also wrong at some point about the same thing. I'm sure Dakota can take some uh... "rubbing". lol.

SAR was my slight choice at the time over Swift, though we apparently only went after Swift, Walker and Marshall.

Personally I think we made the right call. Howard/Swift is better than Howard/SAR (quite redundent) or Howard/Walker or Howard/Marshall. And Swift was more tradable than the rest at an MLE amount because he is much younger.

Sacramento will be begging teams to take Abdur-Rahim off their hands this summer. He doesn't fit into their long term plans.

If choosing between PFs, SAR was also my choice over Stro. My real preference that summer was cleaning house in the backcourt.

I don't think Memphis wanted Stro over Juwan. I think we FORCED Memphis to take Stro as part of the deal. We got Battier, they got the #8 pick and a "bad contract" from our perspective.

He's averaging a paltry 11 points and 4 boards, and doesn't even get to start. Can't see him winning over Roy.

hey i know worng thread but wanted to get ur input on this
"Reggie on the radar? No way of knowing how serious it is yet, but Reggie Miller could be a candidate for the Mavericks' vacant roster spot.

Owner Mark Cuban brought up Miller's name before Monday's game against the Hawks. The former Indiana Pacers star is the No. 1 3-point shooter in NBA history. He retired after the 2004-05 season, but remains in excellent physical shape.

And joining the Mavericks would give him the chance to do about the only thing he never did in his illustrious career – win a championship.

Avery Johnson said he and president of basketball operations Donnie Nelson have been discussing options for the open spot, but are not close to any decisions.

Miller currently is a member of TNT's broadcast team"

DaDa's analysis of any professional athlete who's ever played for a Houston pro team includes the following:

    1) "He should grow a pair"; or

    2) "He needs to reach down and pull his panties out of his [you know what]".

How can you not love DaDa? :D
