    That rule is not enforced.

And ditto on the no plastic rule. Never paid with cards, never will.

    Also, St. James >>> Centerfolds

Better to start a tab than pay that $10 atm fee.

I haven't been to a titty bar in epochs. Is it still appropriate to give the ho's a dollar on the stage. I'm just wondering if the ho's have adjusted to the devaluation of the U.S. Dollar. Do the whores accept Euros?

Dollar is a still good, at least as far as I know. Maybe I'm just the ******* that still only tips a dollar. And they're not whores, they're exotic dancers, a little respect please.

if so, then WE're assholes that still tip a dollar. And houston is supposedly pretty cool concerning leniency: Ive heard in Dallas and SA they enforce the 3ft rule heavily.
200$ is a hefty pre-auth, its usually 50$ or something not so baller.

That acronym is hilarious. But I think the OP did get something a little extra and now trying to get a freebie. Nice! ;)

Hopefully he didn't munch on any carpets there, who knows who else has been munching on them that night.

That's why you also never use an ATM at a strip club.

This is standard practice at strip clubs. They authorize your card anywhere from $50 to $200, but they always let you know in advance. The fact that they didn't is a little shady, but it's Centerfolds and lotsa shady stuff goes on there...lol. I would stay on top of it. I worked at a hotel and we did the same thing as far as pre-authorizing when guests checked in. The logic behind it is to ensure that no matter what happens the place of business receives the amount that they pre-authorized on your card. In the future don't use a debit card, use either a credit card or cash. The pre-authorized amount should drop off your card in about 4 or 5 business days.

Man, I hope for your sake that it is only a pre-authorization. I've heard horror stories. Always pay cash at a strip club, pay after each drink or dance, and never buy a dancer a drink!

So what is the 3 feet rule anyway? Here in California, you get a lap dance and they are in full contact with you. And that's only in the bikini lapdance clubs. In the topless lapdance clubs, you can get much much more milage.

I have heard that Houston is pretty popular for it's strip clubs, but California (L.A. area) has great ones IMO. But believe me I'm not an expert.

Technically we're supposed to have a 3-foot rule where they do air dances basically. No touching allowed. But it's never enforced. From my past experience the girls end up touching you and they'll let you touch within reason.

Not anymore, Bill White has some religious backers who want a return of their investment and the city has come down hard on strip clubs that had churches and schools built near them. Certain clubs have hit back by becoming "go go dancing" or "bikini" clubs and now the ladies wear pasties or body paint.

It seemed like business as usual at Treasures though, I went some time after the hurricane.

Ain't no 3ft rule here in Dallas. It's still as close as you want and thank goodness I am yet to frequent a gentleman's establishment in which the young ladies wear pasties. They let it all hang out. :D

Agreed...I would suggest if you do use plastic, don't use your debit card...USe a major credit card so you can contest any charge...I use AMEX...they let you contest anything...
