I love the Diaz brothers, but they're complete thugs. Mayhem was actually doing Shields a favor and helping hype up and sell a rematch of a very close fight.

That said, I hope Dana White throws a huge contract at Shields. He's earned it and I'm tired of seeing all these small promotions hogging top-tier fighters like Fedor, Shields, and Mousasi who should all be contending for titles in the UFC.

Yea, in the UFC other fighters who aren't involved in the fight/event as a whole NORMALLY don't enter the ring after fights (unless they are part of a camp). I'm glad that doesn't happen because it gives you that WWE feel that makes things cheesy. Inititally, when I heard about what happened in Strikeforce tonight I thought it may have been staged to get some buzz but then I watched it and saw those chumps the Diaz brothers and others kicking Miller while on the ground

Henderson looked old stiff and slow, after that big right, he landed early in the first, he did nothing for the rest of the fight, except get his ass beat... King Mo was impressive. The fight afterwards, was just embarrassing for the sport.

    How are they "Thugs"

They defended their friend who was being pushed and harassed but they are the Thugs.. Okay....

    So what is Miller?

    O wait he is white....

So he must of not done anything wrong...

Have you seen and heard the Diaz brothers over the last couple of years?

This video shows how the fight started without the cutaway. Miller goes in there and inappropriately asks for a rematch, Shields starts the physical side by pushing him, Miller goes for Melendez, and then Shields's camp gangs up on Miller.

Miller, who is known for being a clown was just making a scene and asking for a rematch, and did not exhibit any sort of intent to physically "harass" Shields. Was it really necessary for Shields's camp to lay a beat down on him, ONE MAN? Including Nate, who is shown throwing punches OVER Shields towards Miller then proceeding to go for a double leg take down as 3 other guys are already punching him?

I think I caught a partial episode of Bully Beatdown a month or so ago. This Miller guy beats up regular kids, I think they were teens, on the tv show. I find it pretty ironic and funny that this Miller douche then gets his ass jumped for being a punk.

Bully Beatdown is scripted. EVERYONE involved in the show are actors including the bully and the victim. The fights are partially real, but again they are fighting actors who often times have training, and are told when the fights are suppose to end

After that melee I don't think it will be free on CBS again... How about we just get an MMA royal rumble in there and let them piss, Shiet, and stomp until the last man standing???

The worst thing is when the guy said "sometimes these things happen in MMA". Uh... really? Morons abound in that clip, both in the ring and on the mic.

Miller was just being a goof. It happens all the time in the UFC where a guy will be brought into the cage and get on the mic to talk to the winner of a match. Brock did it just recently when Carwin beat Mir. The Diaz thugs overreacted big time. Miller was just playing around.

Gus Johnson was hilarious. "Guys this is national television!"

Difference is Dana White is usually there along with the fighter that's going to ask for a rematch. Scott Coker has said he doesn't know how Mayhem snuck in the ring in the first place. Him asking for a rematch wasn't scripted like when Brock came into the octagon after the Carwin match.

I know, I'm just saying it wasn't like Miller was doing something that has never happened before and is the most offensive thing of all time. There was no reason for the Diaz brothers to react like that.

That was....weird. I watched Shields win and then I went to bed - I never watched the rest of this. Shields looked pretty good in his match - he did a great job recovering from getting almost put to sleep. The man has no killer instinct though - he just sat on top of Henderson and baby-tapped him for 4 rounds.

If you saw the Shields - Miller fight it was one of the worst fights ever. Shields got the takedowns there too, but he did absolutely zero damage to Miller and put him in a position where Miller couldn't move, but Shields couldn't do anything offensively either. I would LOVE to see an Anderson Silva v Jake Shields fight though. (which would end up like the Forrest-Silva match)

The King Mo - Gegard Mousasi fight was interesting. I was a little disappointed in Mousasi, but Mo made him fear his standup and that made the takedowns routine. Gegard needed some better takedown defense.

Mayhem Miller is cool...he maybe a little eccentric though.
He comes on the Jason Ellis radio show on Sirius Faction all the time and seems like a cool guy. In the past he said that he and Jake Shields are friends so this was weird.

By the way...Mayhem is the host of Bully Beatdown..he does not fight on the show. They get other MMA fighters to come in and I know that Jake Shields was beating bullies on this show at least once if not twice...so who is the douche??

Can't speak for Nick but I watched the season of TUF where Nate won, and the whole time he was acting like he had no other response in social situations but to try to pick a fight. Other team members, family of team members, it didn't matter that kid had his hands balled up and cocked back and his shirt off 90% of the time.
