This is a very stacked card that rivals some of the better UFC ones.

Heavyweight Roger Gracie, arguably the #1 Gi and no Gi BJJ practitioner is fighting. He holds a 2-0 record in MMA so far.

Jacare is fighting. A top 5 in the world BJJ specialist with crisper striking and wrestling than Demian Maia.

Andrei Arlovski is fighting again after back to back KOs from Brett Rogers and Fedor. He's going against Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva.

And the main event is Brett Rogers vs Alistair Overeem for the Strikeforce HW title.

I got Roger Gracie, Jacare, Arlovski, and Brett Rogers winning.

Fedor is fighting Fabricio Werdum next month.

Overeem is the Strikeforce Champ. He has been busy fighting in K-1 overseas and doing MMA in Japan. He's packed on a ton of muscle over the years and people have speculated he's been on PEDs and has avoided defending his title in the U.S. because of drug testing. However he's fighting tonight which is promising because it could lead to an Overeem vs Fedor fight if Fedor defeats Werdum.

Fedor currently holds the now defunct PRIDE and WAMMA HW belt. The WAMMA belt was meant to unify all belts across all fighting promotions but the reality is that its just a made up belt that Fedor's promotion, M-1 Global, created to say Affliction was having title fights on the line.

If you have Showtime then you can watch it on TV. Otherwise you're stuck watching an online stream.

there is no one, IMO, that can beat him. i've been following MMA since UFC 1 religiously. i've never seen anyone that has the killer instinct that Fedor has. he's not human.

Overeem used to be lean muscle... he's turned into some kind of cyborg from pics I've seen of the guy a couple of months ago. Makes you wonder...

That pic is probably the closest thing I've seen to a glare from Fedor. In his fights he looks so doe eyed and calm.

I respectfully disagree, for as much as I hate Lesnar I think he'd have a great shot. Lesnar's size gives everyone problems, he is very punishing, controls people with his wrestling and just goes to work. Now, Fedor is definitely world class still pound for pound best of the bigs, and has looked beaten at times but is at his best when he's up against it. All that said I think the sport and the athlete has evolved enough to beat Fedor. Don't think you'll see it happen though, I think Fedor's people are protecting his legacy just like you see in boxing so much.

Also think Carwin has more than enough power to end Fedor's night, doubt we'll ever see these fights come to fruition though.

Overeem also has a great shot at beating Fedor. His striking is in another dimension and he has the discipline and patience that Arlovski didn't have. His ground game is also very solid and as you saw tonight his ground and pound is vicious. He's really the only non-UFC heavyweight that can really beat Fedor although I think Werdum has a good shot. His BJJ is awesome and if he doesn't get caught standing he has a good shot to put Fedor in some bad positions.

The reality is, guys like Brock and Carwin are going to shoot a power double on Fedor, push him up against the cage and Donkey Kong his ass back to Russia. The longer Fedor waits to fight real competition the less of a chance he has against them. He's getting up there in age and he can't compete size-wise, he's really just an inflated middleweight.

I'm a big Fedor fan, and at his prime I think he was easily the best heavyweight, but his last few fights he's looked very human. Due to his experience and instincts, he still belongs among the top rung of fighters, but I wouldn't call him the undisputed no.1 anymore.

Overeem looks freaking ridiculous. Instead of PED abuse and bodybuilding he should concentrate on actual FIGHTING.
