I tried to go watch the Rockets game on PPLive yesterday, and I went to every one of the CCT5 stations, and they weren't on either one. So, then I went over to StreamNow, and I saw they have Rockets games on the schedule. I was able to register but haven't started paying yet, as I'm waiting 'til the first game of the season. I'd rather get it for free since the quality isn't gonna be near what it is on TV, but if I find StreamNow is pretty good in the first month, I'll use it for the whole season.
It's been jerky the past two games, pretty much unwatchable. I guess they're still trying to deal with an influx of new Rocket fan subscribers. I'll probably just watch games on CCTV5 via pplive for now, and maybe try out streamtv later in the season to see if it gets better.
Is the site down? I can't get a connection. (EDIT: now I'm getting a connection, but it's sloooooow.)
Has anyone else had a problem with StreamTV the last two games? I'm a subscriber and it has worked well for me the whole season, but the last two games it has been constantly rebuffering or just shutting down altogether. I'm trying to figure out if it is the service or has something to do with my computer.
Has to be increased traffic. Yao's done blowed up, and it's not going to get better unless streamtv upgrades from their end.
I have been fine. Yesterday's game was probably the best I've ever had. Usually it hiccups a few times during each game, but last night, no problems at all. I LOVE this service.
