Rockets had tied an NBA record with 8 consecutive wins by at least 12 points. Unfortunately, they couldn't pull it out tonight, only winning by 10. But it was a good run while it lasted. I think we'll be alright in the long run, but this hurts.
Well our streak of double digit wins is still alive, hopefully we can set the record on that. We're close, but what's the exact number, anyone know?
The streak ended. Oh foot. Man, I guess if I had to, I could live with only winning by 10 every game. Oh, and DD, who had the double-digit win streak record?
while enjoying the 18 games win in a row and there is MVP perform by TMAC, i still am very impressed by cp3. if without paul, we could win 40
I thought the streak had to do with winning consecutive games by double digits. Edit...just looked up the record is 10.
Well, don't be greedy. A 1-point win would still be a win. As long as we win, I don't care by how much we do it.
The record is 10. from apbrmetrics board: Code: +---------+-------+---------+--------+ | season | lg_id | team_id | streak | +---------+-------+---------+--------+ | 1946-47 | BAA | WSC | 10 | | 2003-04 | NBA | NJN | 10 | | 2007-08 | NBA | BOS | 9 | | 2007-08 | NBA | HOU | 9 | | 1990-91 | NBA | LAL | 8 | | 1995-96 | NBA | CHI | 8 | | 1970-71 | NBA | MIL | 8 | | 1996-97 | NBA | CHI | 8 | | 1969-70 | NBA | NYK | 8 | | 2003-04 | NBA | DET | 8 | | 1990-91 | NBA | POR | 8 | +---------+-------+---------+--------+
The 12+ points streaks ends, but the double digit streak is still on. The NBA record is 10 straight games.
Damn, if Luther could have made one more 3 pointers or if Landry had not been injuried. The most important thing is: We are still winning! Go, Rockets!
These kinds of threads make me wonder who in the world keeps track of all these random stats... If you'd told me 10 years ago +/- would eventually be a standard stat in the NBA, I'd have thought you were crazy.
