Felix Hernandez was a better talent, imo.

Well, even if they do take Strasburg out after only 81 pitches, he's now in position to pick up the win.

We only have one series left with them but it's a 4 game series in Washington. So there's an excellent chance we'll face him as long as he doesn't get injured.

With the stuff he has, he might be the best pitcher in the majors.

That's probably it for him, but 14 K's and striking out the last 7 he faced is pretty damned impressive.

So against a REAL MLB squad he probably gets 8-10 Ks...I'm a believer!

He's filthy. Don't like his mechanics though, hope he's able to stay healthy.

Its more than impressive. Its video game-ish.

Ironically Riggleman managed another phenom in 1998 who struck out 20 Stros in one game. Lets hope Steven has a better career.

    More like LEGENDARY...

jazayerli According to baseball-reference.com, no P has ever struck out 14+ batters on so few pitches. Javier Vazquez threw 96 pitches on 4/9/03.

Probably because he was facing a lineup in which Lastings Milledge was featured as the #3 hitter. Yes, the Lastings Milledge that even the Last Place Nationals wanted no part of.
