    Pure bullcraps

Kahn knew he would trade Flynn away once Rubio is in place, so he drafted Flynn higher to create more value out of Flynn. He prob thinks all the GMs are stupid, that they would jump on the trade table for Flynn once he was drafted. But turned out that Kahn is the stupidest one, everybody was just laughing at him after he drafted a back-to-back PG.

Unfortunately, the Clippers own Minnesota's unprotected 1st next year. I would trade anyone on the Rockets for that pick. The worst part is, they got it for Sam I am freaking Cassell.

Morey, pick up the phone, ask the Clippers who they want, and send them.

Teams who might be interested in Flynn:

    • Raptors - they want to get rid of Calderon and have Bayless only.
    • Utah - They want to get rid of Harris and have no one else.
    • Sacramento - They only have Jimmer.
    • New York - D'Anotni has been looking for a back up PG and neither Douglas or Shumpert are real PGs.
    • Spurs - They only have Tony Parker and a Rookie.
    • Miami - Only Chalmers and a Rookie.

On that list my dream would be to trade Flynn and T-Will for Leonard.

    The scene: Kahn's office.

Enter Kahn's assistant, followed by Brad Miller.

Assistant: Hey DK, got someone here I'd like you to meet.

Kahn: Who's this old tall white guy?

    Assistant: This is Brad Miller.

Brad Miller: (extends his hand) Nice to meet you.

    Kahn: Who?

Assistant: Brad Miller. (Pause) You know, the guy you just traded away Jonny Flynn for.

    Kahn: That's not Brad Miller.

    Brad Miller: What?

    Assistant: What?

Kahn: You know! Brad Miller, the point guard from Portland!

Asistant and Brad Miller look at each other in confusion.

Kahn: Daryl wanted Flynn, and said I could have Brad Miller for him, and I said 'Oh, you guys picked him up from Portland?' and he said 'Whatever you say, David.'

Assistant: Uhhh.. do you mean.. ANDRE Miller?

Kahn: (pause) God D*MN it! MOREYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!

Kahn is a lot smarter than people give him credit for. His Minny plan made some sense if you listen to Bill Simmons' BS report podcast.

I think Kevin Love is gonna walk from them unless the new CBA contains a "franchise player" designation like the NFL. And then a couple years later, Rubio is gonna walk.

I agree with his. The criticism of Kahn so far has been harsh. I'm not saying he's a good GM, but I at least think the jury is still out on him. He's only been there two years and I liked the moves he pulled last year in acquiring guys like Beasley and Randolph on the cheap. I also thought he had a pretty decent draft this year (barring drafting the 40 year old in the second round). He was very active.

The sad truth for Rockets fans is that most of the grief the guy gets is actually a result of inheriting the team our new coach left there.

Too risky for Spurs - they may want more to sweeten this deal. IOW, they know what they've got in KLeo. But, if they bit, we could slide Morris to 4 when KLeo is on the floor for defensive stops. I like it!

Feigan reported that the Rockets were not high at all on Leonard for this years draft. Not sure why, but I think now with the depth at the SF spot, that is not an area of concern going into next season. More than likely the Rockets will try and move Flynn in relation to the Biedrins deal they have been working on since draft day to help out with making salaries work. Not sure if Golden State is enamored with Flynn so they might have to complicate the trade with a third team.

Teams like the Knicks, Miami, etc. would take Flynn in a heartbeat but him not getting handed to teams with nothing to give shows that Morey n Co. are going to try and maximize the value in return which is good. Their feelings on Flynn have to be that if they are have to give him away then its best just to hang onto him and see if he can compete for playing time with Dragic and Lowry. It makes Lowry/Dragic work harder and pushes them to keep their spots in the lineup.

fans like the guy that's not playing versus the one who is. it was hard here in h-town to look at t-will as the franchise's savior. can't we find a better candidate.

A unfortunate consequence of getting that extra 2nd rounder for Flynn's condition is that everyone is going to view him as damaged goods, and not want to trade for him until he can prove on the court that he is healthy.

I doubt we could give him away at this point.
