Hated on Kobe before, but really all you can do is respect the man. The guy is a complete competitor. Gotta love that.
I am not a fan of Kobe, but like others have mentioned, you've got to respect his work ethic. That he is still producing at a high level at the age of 34 speaks to his tireless work ethic and burning passion for the game. We shouldn't take watching him for granted -- who knows how long 'til he hangs it up!
I had heard stuff like this before, but it's cool to get an inside look at his preparation level. Tom Brady reminds me of the same way, these guys hate losing with a passion.
It's no joke how hard Kobe works He's like the definition of a gym rat, it's almost autistic how hard he practices basketball.
Who knew being a selfish high volume chucker required such hard work and dedication. lol jk.... cant knock the hustle... i hate his game, hate his stupid face, but i respect his work ethic and his willingness to be great... he is the last of a dying breed.
Lebron is/has been better than kobe for a while. Putting up 30+PER seasons is special, but I doubt he works as hard as kobe. Kobe and MJ might be on another level in work ethic. I would love to see Kobe as a coach. He might run his players into the ground or make them great.
I use to spent hours shooting In the sun. What helped me more was getting to the gym. Stronger, explosive, faster. If youre getting old, still try to go to the gym.
Kobe is constantly trying to get better, he reached out to Dream to work on his post moves. respect. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/tI76cbA8aWw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
He'd be a terrible coach, as would MJ. Those guys wouldn't tolerate perceived "laziness" and would expect players to train/play at the level they played at.
World class, grade-A undeniable role model of hard work. World class, grade-A arrogant, self-assured prick.
