If you are planning on riding out the storm, post your name up so we can see when you check in again after this monster passes.

I'm ridding it out. Now I that they are saying this is the 3rd most powerful hurricane recorded I'm pretty nervous about it. Hopefully this thing weakens up when it gets to H-town.

Two stations here in Spring are sold out. One was out before noon and the other had only super until this evening.

In Huntsville, the station we went along I-45 was sold out of Regular and Premium(?) Unleaded so they were selling Super Unleaded for 2.55 / gallon. Probably means they are out now. Bad news for people in Dallas.

I am going to ride this out (famous last words). I will be in the houston, SW area.

I will be with my gf and her family. As for my own apartment, I am taking lots of pictures and my renters insurance policy with me (I live on the second floor - because I had been flooded out by Allison a few years ago - so I refuse to live on the first floor because that flooding thing sux bad.)

    Good luck to all.

I'll probably be riding it out in Friendswood even though we have a mandatory evacuation at 6AM tomorrow... although if my family has any say in it I'll be heading out of town with them tomorrow. I may also have to fly to Chicago because I am on my company's disaster recovery team and we need to get all of our servers back online by Sunday night......... so, while I plan and want to stick it out there are a couple of reasons why I may not.

My friend in Webster is riding it out while my family, we live in the same neighborhood, are leaving. All of my other friends from the neighborhood are leaving to. I'm praying he'll be ok and so will our homes.

I'm riding it out solo style in my house at the Galleria.

My parents really want me to come to their house in Cypress, but I feel the need to stay at my own home and tend to it (like their's something I could really do if it gets bad)...

I just hope I don't get bored ****less when the power and phones are out.
