Thats fine, but I saw this team go on a great run last year, HE was a part of. I saw the team winning games in the post season when HE played. When Tracy sat out throughout this year, I saw HIM step up and help us win. Again he wasn't Chris Paul or a super PG, but he fit this team. I was ok with trading him, as long as we got a no-s**t starter in return. I'd even be excited about it if we had an overflow of quality candidates to fill his spot. We don't. I'm willing to reserve judgement until we see how things go, but I'm not optimistic as of right now. Why don't we talk closer to the end of the season and see how happy you are Skip is gone. Again. I hope we'll be talking about how it all worked out for us as best it could, but right now, on the night of the 19th of Feb in the year 2009, I am not happy with the trade.
I didn't realize crystal balls were so easy to find these days! At least we will get to see with our own eyes if we are indeed better without Rafer and better with AB starting and Lowry behind him. My crystal ball says we're not.
What are you talking about? Do you want to bring Garnett or Bryan in here? To get a marquee player, you have to give up a lot in return. Besides a healthy Tmac and Yao, we have nothing to trade except for young, underpaid, still-developing talents. You don't get a lot in trade for them, but if you keep them, they have a lot of upside.
