We could take a way the billions in subsidies that Trump gives those screwed over by his needless trade war and give it to the stimuli for Covid. Trump has jacked up the deficit way more than Obama did. And Obama was dealing with a recession when he did it.

The vast majority of federal revenue comes from "poorly run democratic states." Without those funds, the "well run red states" would go bankrupt immediately.
