Dwight can only back down on his man and shoot a jump hook. He has no spin moves or up-and-under moves at all. He can only move in one direction, so he's predictable.

I say we use him more in pick and rolls.

Ben Wallace does not b**** about his touches or post offense.
Dwight is delusional about his offensive game which makes him worse than Ben.

I got a lot of Ben Wallace love since I did my high school in detroit (there for 03-04).

Ben Wallace was great off the ball, but he can't guard his man in the post like Dwight can. We used to have Elden Campbell and Rasheed do that stuff. Ben was a freak in a lot of ways, but you can't build around him like you can around Dwight (or at least the hypothetical Dwight we were getting).

Pretty sure they mean Howard is the white Ben Wallace. White man is richer than black man, right? ;)

BTW, I've always thought Bill Russell was the grumpy old rich man's Ben Wallace.

Howard getting that Yao treatment. Smaller centers hack and hack and the minute he shows some determination and posts up these guys, BOOM, offensive foul.

Who said you could build around dwight??? He's that 3rd guy on a championship team. Not even the 2nd option

Surge Ibaka is proof that you can develop the jumper...Not only can he hit FTs...he has legit jump shooting range...

Goodness imagine if Howard could just hit FTs...

unless he's hot, i agree that right now rockets shouldn't use dwight as the first option late in the game. it should be an outside-inside game. BUT, give dwight the chance to "make the proper adjustments" to his game, as well as the entire team get off of this slow, pathetic start to the season

Wasn't he the best option on a team that was three games from winning a championship?

I think he can be a #2 guy on a championship team, easy.
