That would qualify as special, but sustained improvement with the goal of making the playoffs would be even better. They're not doing it this year but a play-in next year would be achievable I think with this squad with the right coaching.
If Tate stays, he needs to be 7th or 8th man. I'd rather star Eason/Christopher/KMJ at the three in that order.
Not the move I'd have made but I understand Stone is bit distracted with trying to hire assistant coaches. Trev will be missed. Best of luck to him.
He gave us nothing at the NBA level last year. He won't be missed at all. If he blows up somewhere else, though, we might regret it.
Rockets has 0 expectations for winning this past year and Silas still disappointed mightily. I'm surprised the fire Silas thread isn't being bumped every day. I don't care about losing streaks, but multiple losing streaks of losing by 20-30 points every game...
LOL. Tate thinks he gonna be the facilitator since he can’t shoot, or rebound, or stay out of foul trouble, or go to his right, or much anything else the Rockets need. He is a decent role player 8-10 that’s it, but Silas gonna start him.
He was 99% in G League last season. Anytime he had on Rockets was barely better than nothing. He will be a good rotation role player. 3-D + some playmaking - mostly scoring off bench.
Eason hasn't played 1 minute yet. I definitely want to see what he's got ...but no way does he play, as of now, over Christopher and KMJ whom are known quantities. Granted. Eason has more potential. However, potential = haven't done a damn thing yet.
