You are using one standard for Chet and another for Paolo.

Stop acting as if you don't understand what you're doing.

Chet has to prove his excellent 39% 3P (not to mention efficiency- TS%, FG%, BPM, ORTG) can translate to NBA but Paolo SHOULD be able to improve his below average 33% 3P and overall offensive efficoency in the NBA over time - just because.

Chet has to prove his elite length/rim protection and switch ability production will translate to NBA but Paolo non production is an illusion - he really is an above average defender once he improves his effort and commitment and lack of elite length - which is "easy to fix" with right coach and system.

    :rolleyes:o_O

    Be better.

So you're really saying Luka better defender than guys I mentioned as well as Brunson ??

    Seriously?

And why are the Mavs your standard now anyway?

Shoot higher than a 1 year wonder.

Mavs have not even been top 5 best defensive team in playoffs.

    Team Defense Ranking (DRTG)

    1. Bucks 102.7
    2. Heat 104.6
    3. Celtics 105.2
    4. Grizzlies 107.1
    5. Bulls 108.3

    6. TIE - GSW & Mavs 110.5

And FYI - Paolo Banchero is NOT Luka Doncic.

You are seriously way off the reservation if you think their talents are anywhere close to the same.

And the racist crack at the end was lame. You want to put money that Spoelstra will not be coaching Rockets next 2 years? Next 5 years?

Banchero is low effort defender so desperately spin Chet's "heart and fire" into a negative.

Banchero is inefficient shooter so spin Chet's offensive efficiency and ability to separate to get open shot due to his ridiculous length is now a negative.

Because Chet will not be 7 feet with 7'6 wingspan in the NBA - that logically will not translate amirite?

Tucker Carlson would be proud of you man.

This is two years in a row where you're preaching about the best possible player and people are ignoring it, clutch posters never learn.

After we got the 2nd pick @D-rock wanted Mobley since there was no way Detroit was trading the #1 pick to us, and he had all the stats and information to back it up.

Sure. Your opinion. I don’t understand how you could watch the same games and not see that he wasn’t making winning plays but that’s your perception. Everyone is entitled to an opinion. Players are evaluated for a reason and there certainly is an edge and fine line between good players and not good players and I laid out what this means. Sometimes the margin is small or not as apparent other times it is. Bad decision making in critical or significant moments. Much of it is mental.

It was the rookie of the year Evan .. whoops I mean Scottie Barnes!!

Jalen will be the best player from the draft of 2021 when looked back on in 5-10 years. "Put that in your sig haters I dare ya" :D

Gotcha. So the implication is he was the best player. Is the best player, and will be the best player in the future. I am not saying you are wrong Mobley from what I saw is damn good. If this is all correct I am still happy with the consolidation prize though. Green will very good in his own right.

Jalen Green and Chet Holmgren would be a bsst case outcome frome 2 disgustimg years of losing. Better than Mobley/Ivey IMO. Jalen is about to ascend.

We can easily do the GS model. Draft Curry, Thompson and Green... win a championship... then bring in a Durant.

    Sounds easy!

I agree. Mobely isn't a star player that can carry a team and I definitely would rather have Green than Ivey.

So you'd recommend Ben Simmons in Houston, and bring back fat Harden as the franchise player. Let's dissect these 2 ideas you wanted Stone to do

I knew it. You're in fellator mode again.

You're not a Rockets fan, you're just a player hater.
