Ask the Nets that question two years ago LOL. You need to stay flexible and rebuild. WE DONT KNOW WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN.
Do we really want him "learning" how to shoot 3's for us? Im not sure thats what he's being brought in for.
Yeah - Theis will dunk on you if he's close enough, and apt to get the ball in the bucket - no p***y gene in him thats for sure.
cmon its 21st century, everybody needs to have a shot in NBA....otherwise their positive impact elsewhere is pretty much canceled....and its not a rockets science... you just get to gym an hour or 2 daily and youll get there in time...its impossible not to improve and its not like hes a 100% trash shooter... hes almost there already
IF Theis was a proficient 3 point shooter that would have already materialized. Houston isnt the only team who shoots a bunch of 3's - like you say its a league wide staple. Im fine with him shooting open 3's BTW, just hoping the guy doesnt start thinking he can side step and step back. If he's in the corner and the pass gets to him - shoot it sure. I dont think we'll be running sets to maximize his outside shooting. Just saying.
The worst part of Ashleyem threads is how he/she spouts off with the worst of the worst dumbass takes, gets like 200 people to respond to his/her total garbage, but then never actually responds back or tries to engage in real conversation.
“LOL” What you are suggesting is the OPPOSITE of what the nets did to rebuild In fact they did exactly what I said. The nets used every asset available and had as much talent as possible. Then they flipped those pieces, dlo, levert, allen etc when stars saw them as an actual destination
How are you guys using hawks and nets as examples? They are doing nothing you are implying. The hawks traded for “overpaid” capela
Brown is a good defender and a much better 3 point shooter. Seems brown is the superior 3 & D guy over Nwaba. So I don't get it.
They did a rebuild first. Thats how they got assets. they were old got young and now they are the nets we know today. It seems like you only care about winning an arguement or getting attention which is why your posts dont connect or make any sense. you contradict yourself a lot bro or you just try to make things fit what you say when they really dont lol
Nwaba is extremely underrated. Brown is a better shooter. Nwaba is one of the better perimeter defenders in the entire league and one of the toughest MFers period. $5m/year is undervalued and highly tradeable asset. Also, anybody over the age of 27 is going to have zero impact on the Rockets future besides their impact on helping the kids' development. Neither of our young guards know how to defend. I would much rather have a hard nosed defensive specialist to flank them while they play and set an example while they learn.
im just discussing on a forum. Is it that serious? I even gave up arguing with someone earlier because he clearly wasnt changing his mind How do I contradict myself? Your own example contradicts you. The nets horded assets and didnt just let good players walk because they couldnt afford them. Thats exactly what im saying we should have done
What you said is not contradictory to what i said. But you're saying it as if it is. The Nets got younger, and gained capspace. they started losing as well and lost their picks as well. those assets werent always assets they were young players. You are saying things to make them fit what you said earlier instead of just saying my bad you're right about that or you may have a point or you agree. A person on a forum with too much pride just ends up being a troll in the long run.
by "believing everything that you read" you must mean "understanding a salary cap." tell me seriously - in your head, you think that the other scenario here was signing allen for 100 million? just a yes or a no. i don't even understand your point about wood playing 5 on offense but 4 on defense, which seems to favor a guy who plays 4 on offense and guards the 5. which is ... you know.
