I had an order stolen in the complex's office when I was in college. I was pretty pissed. I didn't get notice of the package being delivered, so I finally went to the office to ask if they had received a package and they said yes, showed where they had signed for it. They went to look for it, and couldn't find it. That time was far worse. This particular instance, my wife was home at the time of supposed delivery. Its possible they put it in the mailbox(I'm not sure what it was, because it was supposed to be a gift for me), or they put it on the porch without knocking or ringing the doorbell, which they have done before.
