That's what the fed was trying to do, right? Force the hand of growth companies. A bazzzzillion wiped from the crypto market cant hurt either.
Man, I didn't enter META... Did okay with Amazon/Disney on small entry (amazon actually hit 200%+), META though easy 800% on calls I missed but had a watch on... Then didn't want to chase. Should have just bought further out and waited. Do I want to own META stock? probably not, will I move contracts? Yes!! On sideline atm. META is definitely a train wreck, I'm sure that sales rep going to be calling 10x

How do yall feel about.... TMF. I retired my TMV play successfully August 5th but I was woefully early (but still fine, no biggie). Now I feel it will (not soon) eventually be TMF's time to shine. It already had some volume come in yesterday (but what didn't). Is it time to rotate to TMF and start a position? Rates wont be high forever. Feels to me like a CERTAINTY TMF will eventually fly. And what better to go off than FEEL? Lulz I didn't even know about TMF. Only TMV. It's like the cinnamon babka.
I have TMF on watch, I have moved shares in/out over last few weeks, but am planning to get in calls further out, there should be a decent play there. Premiums weren't bad few weeks ago when I looked but was trying to wait a bit longer before holding.
this was last Fri, trading days ago, today, the PPI (producer price index) report was released Wholesale prices rose 0.2% in October, less than expected, as inflation eases
HD paid decent 4 min into open, it's probably running up again, but I basically got in 320c @ 1.66 per and closed @ 2.33 per before it fell, I know it's higher than my exit but I didn't like the way it wasn't breaking $311 or so at open and didn't want to risk profits. Not too exciting but I'll take it. Lately XSP minis are interesting if you can get in on a decent move, and of course SPY. I have basically been trying to trade daily still and close most positions same day. I still haven't been holding through ER.
Anyone shorting SI because of the FTX mess? I saw something pop up but not sure how valid it is. I missed making an entry, but if it it's real it'll continue falling.
I thought the direction would change after the Fed rate announcement, but it seems like weakness in commodities, O&G, retail and housing is starting make the market listen. There's definitely an appetite for treasuries overseas. The prudent thing would still be to make bigger bets after the Fed rate. Inflation/Stagflation v Recession are different themes the market is playing with week by week...
