I've never really invested in O&G but does anyone have thoughts on an O&G play? Seems like if something happens, the natural gas market will go nuts as Europe likely gets cut off from its primary supply. Oil is also probably impacted but if Biden strikes some deal with OPEC countries to offset Russia's production, maybe that isn't impacted as much.
OBVIOUSLY retail is the future...Macy's +18%, Dillards +15% and Nordstrom +13%. Also $hit stores like BKE, ANF, URBN and KSS running all day on a historically bad day. Oh hey, Zumies and Shoe Carnival +7 and 9% today, did all of Mexico decide to buy stocks today? So Kohl's gets rumored to a buy out and everybody loads up on retail huh? Open the casino already!
Lots of complex issues. To me it was simply undervalued. I've been in XOM & ERX for over a year now. Don't plan on unloading this year.
this is what threw me off big time yesterday. all these blue chip stocks drop but brick and mortar clothing stores have massive up ticks. not even trying to hide the manipulation and yes i know your comment is /s
It seems that way when I look at the price history of these oil and natural gas ETFs. All of them seem to be trading at huge discounts right now. But I also know nothing about O&G and don't feel educated enough to make an informed decision.
Quit being a wimp! What are you? Put some hair on your chest -- go in there and buy more! * When you think the time is right, of course -- this post is not a suggestion by me that you should buy anything. You can't prove it is, so don't try. *
Well, right now he's trying to get McDonald's to accept Doge by saying he'll eat a Happy Meal, so ...
To THA MOOOOON! (I am 100% paying my tax bill once the rest of my 1099s roll in; the stock market is rigged)
