Both my dogs are Cairn Terriers. They are great dogs. Stubborn at times but great.

PSID is 7c but only has 80 million shares float. That's pretty low for a penny stock. I consider that an options trade at those levels. I think it's a candidate for a pump and dump based on ebola panic. Fundamentally the company is weak - $189K in cash and $3.5 mil in Debt. Unless it gets some big sales orders in the next week, I wouldn't be investing it in it long term.

I'm getting the feeling if this Ebola outbreak (dare I call it that) continues in the US, that these EBOLA "stocks" will be bid up like the POT stocks were. Pumpers and dumpers. But it seems there are not too many of them.

-- Check out SIMH. They make a special thermometer that is non contact. On some news it went from 2c to 20c on Friday.

Sanomedics Announces Initial Purchase of Nearly 100 Caregiver(R) TouchFree(TM) Clinical Thermometers to Help Fight Against EBOLA at the Nation's Airports
MIAMI, Oct. 10, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sanomedics International Holdings, Inc. (SIMH); "Sanomedics" or the "Company"); a medical technology holding company that focuses on providing game changing products, services and ideas, announced today that the Company's Thermomedics, Inc. division has shipped the first group of devices to Atlanta Headquarters of the Center for Disease Control ("CDC") for immediate distribution to selected ports of entry, where touch-free temperatures are destined to identify fevers in arriving travelers from at-risk countries.

Keith Houlihan, President of Sanomedics, noted that "Caregiver TouchFree(TM) Thermometers are uniquely suited to this type of highly infectious virus, since the method of transfer is via contact with body fluids and contaminated substances from the victims."

He added that "Thermomedics is pleased to be able to supply this revolutionary instrument for use in the battle against the current threat to the nation's health and security. Using no probe covers and patient contact means that there is less contaminated waste attributable to the temperature screening process."

During a television interview Thursday on Miami's local Fox affiliate WSVN, Houlihan mentioned that authorities have been quick to recognize the technology's accuracy, safety, and strong clinical documentation.

Thermomedics' VP of Marketing and Sales, Ron Benincasa, indicated that the speed of the process (1-2 seconds), simplicity of technique (point and press one button), and protection of the temperature-takers make this an ideal tool in this urgent effort.

The Company has dramatically increased production requirements to meet the escalating demand for the Caregiver, not only for the CDC needs, but in response to the growing adoption of these devices in healthcare facilities across the United States.

    Company Description

We also hold exclusive rights to rNAPc2, a single-chain, small recombinant
protein, originally isolated from the saliva of the canine hookworm. rNAPc2
is a potent, long acting, and selective inhibitor of tissue factor, the
protein responsible for initiating the extrinsic coagulation pathway, the
primary coagulation mechanism in humans. rNAPc2 was originally developed as
a cardiovascular therapy for thrombosis and other indications. As a result,
it has been safely tested in over 700 human patients in nine Phase 1 and
Phase 2 clinical trials. Previously, pilot studies of rNAPc2 conducted in
non-human primates demonstrated potential efficacy against two of the most
deadly strains of hemorrhagic fever virus, Ebola and Marburg.

We are currently seeking government funding to further develop rNAPc2, as a potential treatment for viral hemorrhagic fevers. Considering the substantial cost associated with the development of rNAPc2 and our limited financial resources, further development of rNAPc2 will be dependent upon receipt of government funding, which may not be available.

Should I be worried if my 401k is mainly in stocks? Should I allocate it to be more conservative or is it best just to ride this out?

When do you plan retire? Best not to try to time the market if you have a long time to go to retirement. If you are making regular contributions, it'll help average out your returns over time.

Unless you're planning on retiring anytime soon, I'd leave it alone. By getting into the habit of timing and tinkering with your 401(k), you end up doing more damage in the long-run. Everything evens itself out eventually.

Google "Dumb Money" and then don't be the dumb money.

In plain English ride it out you are continuing to dollar cost average every payday so you should be smiling at all these cheap stocks you are going to be buying.:)
