Sold my shares this morning when it was up 8%. At an all time high. I'm expecting it to pull back under $10 next week, then I'll buy more because it's so irresistible. *fixed* Sold my shares this morning when it was up 8%. At an all time high. I'm expecting it to pull back under $10 next week, then I'll buy more because it's so irresistible. If you're taking out a loan to purchase a house, better do it before interest rates go up. Also need to figure out how much of your monthly income you will spend on your mortgage. If it's over 40% of your income, I would say no. Honestly, I've never bought a house to live in. I buy houses in ghetto places near downtowns and universities, and rent them out to students, graduates, and hipsters.
keep up buying the dips and selling.. its going to run for a while. TSLA who knows.. its fundamentally terrible but the energy around the product and its potential future is keeping the bubble afloat
Unfortunately i think i have to pay the market price, i will double check though. I put in at least 150$ every paycheck. so by next year this time, i will have close to 8k. so i am excited. i just wanted some opinions about costco before i continue investing, Once i hit 10K i will probably take it out and invest my money towards different companies.
Damn, I got killed on my INO stock today. Lost 5.3% in ONE DAY. Also lost big on Lionsgate Films, don't know why it was shorted big time today, down 5.6%, possible due to the CFO announcing retirement .... hope to get at least some of my investment back when "Hunger Games: Catching Fire" comes out in theaters.
Yea it's in a low volume holding pattern right now.. the impatient ppl are selling, and there isn't enough knowledge of it out there to spur buying.
It's a 2 dollar speculative biotech stock. A 5% move in that stock is extremely common. In fact, it's average true range is greater than 5%. You shouldn't have that much invested in such a speculative play if you are going to be worried about it. LGF wasn't shorted. It was sold. There is a difference.
IMHO with INO the best strategy would be just hold it and forget about the daily fluctuations. The Roche deal has changed the fundamentals of the company, and it's likely to go way up after it hit the first milestone payment, which I guess would be something very reachable like starting phase I clinical trial on one of their two vaccines. But before that, it's not very likely to get a lot higher. With these biotech start ups there's always the risk of the company go under, but the Roche deal makes this a very unlikely event in the near future. Phase I of the HPV vaccine looks promising, phase II results is due next year. If the clinical trials go well, this stock will be going places.
Does anyone look at AUD/USD? Need to buy USD and should have done it when the Aussie dollar was stronger but didn't get around to it. Have a fair bit to buy so any tips and options would be ace!
I'm hanging in there with yours and others' valuations of the company. All that happened on Friday was simply a reflection of the general insecurity throughout the market.
All it took was one comment from the Federal Reserve that sent stocks free falling across the board. That's insane Any predictions on what happens next week ?
Historically, its a bad week for stocks. http://blog.stocktradersalmanac.com...f-the-Worst-Weeks-of-the-Year-DIA-SPY-QQQ-IWM
Stocks weren't in free fall. The S&P is down less than 1% from it's all-time highs that were set the day before (highs that were also caused by a comment from the Fed). The market isn't going to go straight up, especially when it's at record levels.
TSLA still has a chance to reach $200. Especially if they can develop their "driverless" technology, and the new Chevy Volt doesn't eat into their customer base. Idk, I gave up that stock too early.
I still think there's too much money out there ready to be invested than to allow one or two voices to spook it into submission for very long.
