I still can't believe this one. I keep thinking it's going to drop back. The price is higher than most analysts peg it - and yet this thing keeps climbing. I hope you took advantage of this one.

PCX was a great call, and looks very good now. I missed out on it, and probably won't chase here unless there is a bounce. CLF is looking very good as well, I will hold on to that one and possibly add if there is a bounce. Would not chase if you are not in though. AAPL was obviously an epic fail. Was able to trade in and out of it for some profit the days leading up to earnings. Left on a small position during earnings, and got out at 253 for a small loss. What really screwed me was that I did not know they would halt the stock during the announcement. Apparently they always do, need to do more DD on my part.

Which brings us to SPG. I may be way off on this, but I really like the REITs now, after today. For those into candle sticks it was a bearish engulfing, or insideout day. Whatever you want to call it, I like them alot here. Not going to go too crazy, but got in some today, then added some at the close. Hoping for a small gap up on Monday, which I would add more. All with a tight stop, since if this is not the top then I am out.

SPG, BXP, VNO, KIM, ESS, they all look pretty good to me, or IYR if you want them all. At least for a trade for a few days. Maybe turning into something more if we really crack.

1180 is key support for the S&P, if we break that we should see 1140, which would make all these great trades. Be very careful with those REITs though, they are dangerous.

    Good luck.

So this sounds awful, but is now the time to buy BP?

I wonder how far BP is going to fall. Down another 7% today.

Anyone know anything about Parker Drilling Co (PKD)? Parker is an oil drilling company run out of Houston. Stock is trading lower today, but the analyst's estimates look good. Earnings call is scheduled for May 5.

I just bought some call contracts for PWRD. They are an online gaming company. Good PE, high profit margins. I checked out some of their games, they look good. One is coming out this year that is suppose to be their best ever. It has been taking a hit over the past month or so, seems to be oversold. I think it will trend up, depending on their earnings on the 12th. Hopefully it will reach $40 in a month or two, it's at $33 right now, that is, as long as they dont miss their earnings.

I haven't looked at the correlation of PKD to Natural Gas, but a quick glance at a chart suggests that there is some linkage in the movements of the two.

With Natural Gas at the lower end of the price range, you might get a bounce in PKD when the Natural Gas Seasonal turns in July.

Haven't researched it enough to determine if PKD and other Natural Gas impacted stocks slightly lead or lag Natural Gas prices.

The dollar is off the charts today, what's going on?

Edit: the world markets don't buy Europe's attempt to prop up Greece's debt

    Flight to safety.

    DXY +1%

    TLT +1.5%

Gold down but recently on a tear.

Risk getting killed. Resource sector especially getting slammed today and lately. Check XME, steel, coal, copper etc. A breakdown in the Shanghai composite is contributing to this.

Since GOOG and GS broke down several weeks ago, the Market has been living on borrowed time. The doubts about funding for Greece and now the unhappiness by the Greeks is too much of a Wall of Worry for the Market to continue climbing.

Very nice CXbby, we're getting close to 1140. Do think we'll go much lower than 1140?
