not sure yet. i know if we have another huge up day like we did today with the same type of strong close then i will be short. just sitting back and waiting...like usual.
I'm looking to see if Jamie Dimon moves the markets any. It popped a bit as he started talking about JPM. JPM itself popped about $1-$1.25 as he started talking.
Better than losing 20%. I did the same thing for a 42% gain yesterday and am happy with that. I think itwill come back into the low 4's or mid 3's one more time. For now I am sitting on the sidelines watching BAC and DXO.
Watch TIN, I heard from a friend that they may announce record earnings in the March/April time frame. DD
TIN is getting crushed by it's debt load. i would highly doubt they would announce any kind of record earnings with commodities and housing still in the trash can.
I got in last week at about 6.90. it's at 9.60-something at last count. i think it found its bottom....though it might creep back down again. truthfully, even at 10, i think it's a great buy if you're holding long. if it goes anywhere under 8 again, i'll buy more. by the way...since you mentioned Dow...picked up some of it last week at about 7. i'm still under on it, but picking up dow stock at 7 feels like a good buy to me. unless you're always looking to flip quickly.
question: anyone else looking at sirius?? it's under $.20/share. that's a sink or swim price. that's the kind of stock i'd buy to hold on to in the short term just to ride up to a few dollars. any thoughts??
my friend has been talking about it for 6 weeks now. It was around 8 cents I think when he mentioned it. Then it sat around 12 forever, up to 17 and back to 12.. now I feel like I should have listened. But I'm not willing to go in now after I saw it spike to 17 cents and fall back after that last time.
Ha! I have been eyeing GE and DOW for about three weeks. I have not made any moves yet, but I think I might on the next big drop.

so we made it through 741. does that mean we're going higher or is 743 not enough to say we actually broke through.
