have you seen the last 10 games? Lakers are 3-7 with a 6 game losing streak. i guess that's what you get with the greatness of Phil Jackson.
Some of us are with you Almu. Preach on... What your thread needs is LHutz to come and give a point by point "refutastion." Huh?
There is a huge distance between "can" and "will." Logically, statistically, scientifically, the conclusion is that the Rockets will be lucky to get out of the first round, but they "could" win it all. What if the Mav start a slump, what if Boozer can't come back, what if one of the key Sun's players gets hurt, what if the Rockets go on a tear and can't miss a shot, what if Rafer shoots over 30%? There are so many variables. I am not buying or selling: I will hold, and cheer them on.
We lost against the Suns cuz 3 out of our 5 starters played like garbage and was Shane even playing? 51 + wins will equal our best record in a decade or so, right? JVG is a good coach and I have faith we will at least advance to the second round. My main concern is RAFER ALSTON....not JVG
so wait.... we struggle with ONE team, a team we have yet to face in the playoffs, in a game where we shot 38% from the field and a horrible 26% from 3-point land (many of which were wide open looks), and this loss falls squarely on JVG? and what a surprise... just like every other loss we've had this season (according to you jvg haters). how absolutely r****ded. why is this all of a sudden about just beating the suns? how did our strategy of "just beating the sonics" work out for us 10 years ago? or what about the Texans strategy of just beating the colts? have either of those strategies worked out? of course not. yet here you are, harping on van gundy because he's lost a handful of games to the freaking phoenix suns - a damn good team - but a damn good team who has yet to win a ******* thing. quite the coincidence that all of sudden the phoenix suns just happen to be your barometer du-jour for JVG and the rox.
way to post a reply with absolutely zero substance, focusing on nothing more than pure semantics. good job.
