Yeah, don't really see how they can disallow one and not the other. Players wouldn't use any of these products if they didn't feel like it might give them an edge. Also, didn't a retired ref say that it wasn't officially against the rules?

    EXACTLY!!!!!

How in the hell can you shoot free throws with stickum on your freakin hands!!!

    This guy is an IDIOT!!!
Best thing that could ever happen is for him to opt out after this yr.

He doesn't see himself as a Rocket next yr? THANK GOD!!!!!

Mainly the issue is that Stickum is competing with a product they endorse, so the NBA won't want it , period....but technically stickum is an adhesive, while the powder and Power Grip are just to dry your hands out..so i can see the difference, but obviously the difference isn't providing an advantage or else they wouldn't have let it go all these years..

I get the difference between products
I don't see how you can say one thing on your hand is ok but not the other

I was under the impression Stickum not only dried your hands but also left some kind of adhesive on your hands..but I've never tried it.

Lol only in a mediocre season this would be an issue

It would be just a minor incident if we would be in Top 3 of the West right now.

If it affects FT shooting on the other team, shouldn't it be illegal? It's like doctoring the ball.
