Well, at least he is getting surgery. That should kill all the "he's not really injured, just saving face" rumors. Since he is going under the knife, looks like he is really committed to making a comeback. We'll see you next year for The Return of the Franchise Part 2!

 

No Stevie, Rocket at most advances to the first round of playoffs.

Adelman does not want to use Stevie for the reason of Yao Ming. It was Stevie who emphasized repeatly in pre-season games that Yao was the focus and every team member of Rocket should realize that. Such statement borthered Adelman a lot. He did not like someone else in the team played the role of leader and determined the direction of team's future.

He said that Stevie is an Alpha Dog and Adleman is main Alpha Dog. Since Adleman is the Big Dawg, he reduced Steve's role to puppy sitting on the end of the bench cause he didn't like getting challenged. Which is BS cause Adleman is a fair coadh.

 

Too bad he's out for the season, would've loved to see him in action during the playoffs. Good luck Steve and i hope you will be here next year, he deserves a pleasant ending of his career here in Houston.

You will have to wait. I just posted with Calvin Murphy said. There is no confirmation yet.

 

I personally spoke to Murph yesterday after his show and asked him to give more details on Francis. He just said that it will be announced soon - possibly as early as Thursday that Francis would be out for the season because of knee surgery. Don't look for Francis to suit up any more this season.

 

He was the only reason that I became interested in the Rockets again this season.

Well that explains why Francis was stinking it up on the court this year. Hope he makes a full recovery and comes back strong next year.
