Lets assume Shag will get some free throws when he starts playing again. If he gets 50% people will even think he is a superstar.

    :D :D :D :D :D

This was already mentioned, but I will say it again because it should be said again. The stat listed is field goals made per 48 minutes, not attempted.

As a guard scoring 30 points with 51 FG% is incredible. It made him one of the best player in the league. He's now a team leader.

4 TOs is not too much if you play as Steve.

Leaders are not made by stats.

Leaders are made by having followers. I don't see the inside of the lockerroom to know, but it seems like everyone belives in Steve.

Those stats are impressive. Shows that he is improving every year he's in the league. The mark of a star player. Future improvements for Steve would be in the assist turnover ratio category. Great job SF! :)

Just to clarify jlaw, he ranks #1 in FG made per 48 minutes, and #6 now in FG attempted per 48 minutes. That means he has a better shooting percentage than Allen Iverson, Kobe Bryant, Allan Houston, Paul Pierce, and Glen Robinson, who are all ahead of him in attempts per 48 minutes, yet behind him in makes.

    Uhhhhhhhhhh......... no.

Griffin is currently taking 11.6 shot attempts per games. He's making 4.4 of them. If he were hitting 43% of his shots, he'd be making almost 5 per game. That means, that if Francis got an assist for every bucket EG scored... he'd have another .6 assists per game. However, Francis doesn't get an assist for every EG bucket.

The Rockets are averaging 34.4 FGs per game. Francis is averaging 5.6 assists per game. That means that Francis only gets an assist for one in every 6.14 Rocket FGs.

So, divide the expected increase in EG's FG by that, and you get a grand total of an increase of .09. That's right! Instead of averaging 5.6 assists per game... he'd be averaging 5.7 assists per game.

Yipee! 5.7! We've got a great distributing point guard there!

Pippen, you are trippin! The guy that is leading the league in dribbles is none other then, Moochie Norris! :p He also has set an NBA record for that feat, including dribbles per 24 second shot clock and most last second heaves.

Or the fact that we play in an iso offense. Our main scorers love to create off the dribble . None of our guys are catch and shoot guys, except for Rice, and he hasn't been playing much.

Everyone that wants a "passing" pg will rue the day we trade Steve. If not for his fat contract, you don't think Sterling would be all over a Francis for Andre Miller trade? He'd say "anything else? Maybe a big man?"

I'm a Rocket fan regardless of who is on the team, but sometimes I wish CD would trade Steve just to show some of you guys how ****ty we are without him on the team.
