I don't suffer from migraines, but I know they are horrible. From what people tell me, it's hard to walk, much less play basketball.

I suppose it's easy for me to say since hindsight is 20/20 but I have been suspicious of Steve's eating habits from Day 1. By design, my food intake is unusual and I have never had a headache in my life.

I recall that MSG is also classed as a "salt". Is there a connection between salt intake and high blood pressure?

Even if salt restriction is not the total cure, I hope (for his sake and the Rockets' sake) that he persues eating habit changes. It is my belief that this is the true root of his problems.

Absolutely. Salt is one of the things a doctor will take out of your diet if you are having high blood pressure problems.
