My Adam's hype meter is slowly increasing.

I think Steven Adams is the real deal because of his mobility and athleticism at his size. I don't know what the Suns were smoking drafting a guy who had 8 steals in 38 games last year.(Alex Len) I thought 'motor' had replaced 'upside' as the favorite term for the NBA draft?

However, Rockets fans should thank their lucky stars that Morey did not acquire Andre Drummond(#9 pick) in the draft last year and trade him later on for Harden. You might as well hand the Thunder the championship for the rest of the decade. Toronto Raptors' GM didn't deal the 8th pick for Kyle Lowry on draft night since he was targeting local hero Steve Nash for free agency.

Steven Adams per 36 this preseason: 12.1 PPG, 12.3 RPG, 62.1% FG.

Steal O' Da Draft by far. Perk bout to be unemployed

    Haha that's some serious digging!

Looks like I might have been way off on those predictions. Not sure how Shabazz is doing, but Burke is hurt so he can't be judged, and Adams and Zeller have looked pretty promising. Also MCW seems to be bricking a bunch, but putting up solid numbers.

    Not my best calls

When in doubt - wingspan. I think that's #1 on OKC's draft board.

Or maybe you'll trade us Adams before you have to pay him.

They'll need to keep Adams for when Westbrick and Durant leave them.

Lamb looked great too. 22 pts on 9-16 vs an elite Bulls defense. Pretty cool

Maybe you should post his pre-season averages, because coming in to this game he shot only 15% from 3 and 32% from the field.

Very true. But dropping 22 on an elite defender like Butler should help his confidence going forward

I stand corrected. Obviously Presti schooled Morey on the Harden trade.

Simple answer: they should have either 1) waited til the end of the year - hardens value would have gone down just a little (teams would have still offered a lot for harden) - ie be patient; and 2) more importantly, amnestied Perkins ($9m) and offered harden the extra $1.5m per year he was asking. They would have paid for Perkins salary but he wouldn't have counted against the cap. That's where Presti screwed up. Westbrook over harden and Ibaka over harden are both defensible but not taking 1 or 2 above was the real mistake.
