"im stephen a. smith!" haha funny stuff... i cant stand SAS his voice just makes me wanna bust through the tv and yell STFU and then stomp his face to the ground for being an idiot. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NaqxreC2wgo
Great but what I quoted is the only mention of Altcheck. I'm just reading the quotes straight up and when someone is "leaning toward surgery" it means that is one of multiple options. So we have many doctors saying the knee is fine and one doctor saying microfracture is an option. I guess that is good enough when you want to quit.
I'm beating a dead horse here but the problem is that even McGrady would have disagreed with you up until a few days ago depending on how his jumper was falling that night or if he got a dunk.
I usually think SAS is full of it but what he described is what JVG said in an interview earlier today, sounds like the most logical course of events that lead to the way everything went down
How gossipy. Were you watching ESPN or TMZ? My opinion is, who gives a -- about how the organization made t-mac feel. I would just ask mcgrady to harken back to the feeling he gets each time the direct deposit hits on his $22 mm salary. Seriously dude! Should we make sure he's feelings aren't hurt? We're paying this guy a fortune to do NOTHING!
wait a second, since when were we in trouble with t-mac leaving? the whole city will pop champagne and book t-mac a flight out of town come 2010.
I've said this a 1,000 times SAS is a bis Arse hole ! Why people like him and how he is a commentator for ESPN is beyond me. Just watch him he is the most arrogant person and thinks he's all that ! Now for T-Mac he wont be in Houston anymore cause he's done physically and after what he did to this organization !!!! He won't be welcomed in Houston anymore !!
Great Post ! T-Mac hurt this organizatin and its fans by waiting til the last minute to not tell the Rockets that he was getting season ending surgery ! I say they take some of that money out of his wallet and make him hurt a little !
How true! LOL. Where was the Rockets brass when the fans called him a "wuss", "sheMac"? His fragile heart got hurt really bad. No wonder. LOL.
JVG said he was only giving an opinion because he was not there. It's ridiculous to suggest that the organization tried to sabotage McGrady with the fans. I guess it had nothing to do with his actions or his mouth. (at the suggestion, not at you GRENDAL)
The issue to me isnt really his knee... I mean he could have handled it better.. maybe with one of his famous press conferences... where he has the MRI's the doctor and a team rep there to back him up... but to me its always been about heart... what is heart? the desire to win above all other things... ever wonder why Olympic sprinters are willing to shorten there lives taking Steroids just to run .0002 seconds faster... or a Hockey player is willing to drop infront of a puck that is being shot at 90klm per hour knowing he at best will get a bruise... and worst case lose some teeth or crack some bones... a few weeks back I saw Lebron and Kobe both dive for a ball in a mean nothing regular season game... some one prove me wrong... show me a video with Tmac diving for a ball in the 11 years he has been playing...I dont ever remember seeing him do so.... granted someone will come out and say Tmac dosent have to do that... but to me its the minor things like diving for a ball taking a charge going for a block even if it means you might get dunked on....that that prove you have the heart to want to compete....
i think Tracy will end up in San Antonio in 2010 which is good for him he Needs a tough coach who will bench him if he has to. Just watch Thedonace said it here first
I just wish both sides could swallow a little pride, talk behind closed doors, and work crap out. Conflicts happen, people make STUPID decisions, organizations do too. There's plenty of blame to go around. It doesn't HAVE to be the end of it, and my sneaking suspicion is that they are going to at least try to salvage the "relationship" since the Rockets haven't sad anything on the subject yet. Seems like they want to talk to Tracy and see what can be done. Maybe the "peaceful" solution is a trade somewhere in the off season. If they are to part ways, they should find a way to do it with some class and dignity for the sake of the Rockets and McGrady. Just my twice cents.
