read the post which he quoted before... the guy said that vets came automatically to the celts for the minimum when the big 3 was there, so they would also be coming to the heat for the minimum if they have a big 3 of wade james and bosh and that dude is just like the big 3 didnt play for the minimum
He's facepalming b/c his post wasn't about the Celtic's big 3. He was referring to the vets that joined Boston b/c of the Garnett/Pierce/Allen core.
I would infer that the facepalm is the result of the Tigerknee's lack of reading comprehension skills. Allow me to assist you fellas..... First Sentence: Same thing was basically said when Celts got their big 3 Translation: Celtics were expected to put low salary, crap talent around the big 3 Next Sentence: Vets would come play for the minimum Translation: Vets would be attracted to come play on the cheap.....to win a ring
You guys know that the "A" in Steven A. Smith stands for @$$hole right? That's where he blows all his hot air from.
wait so Miami would sign THREE of the big free agents?? Why is no one questioning that or am I missing something...
I think they have the cap space to do so. Sign Lebron/Bosh and then resign your own FA, Wade. Doable specially since they have an skeleton roster.
No one knows where these players will end up but if Miami does end up with the big 3 then Amare and Johnson will make sense of joining their old coach in NY.
Honestly, if Miami signs these three guys, i still think they would have trouble winning the championship. All their money into 3 all stars and then what? a crapy bench ? They should sign 2 of the big FA and add quality pieces around them,
What are you smoking man if Miami has Wade/LeBron/Bosh I would average 10 PPG for them on the way to 10 titles in 10 years.
Three guys that work from the perimeter and drive to the hole. My defense would simply be to pack all 5 guys in the paint area and force all 3 guys to fire away from the perimeter or draw offensive fouls trying to penetrate through the whole team. On another note, wonder if Shaq would sign with Miami for the vet minimum in this scenario?
This just in: Stephen A. Smith is reporting that Tracy McGrady is "very interested" in playing with Miami next season.
