Da Dakota...you are obviously dodging the question...You are the GM of an expansion team and the 2 best guards who are left unprotected in the expansion draft are Francis and Nash. You have decided that you are taking a guard 1st so in a sense, you are building your team around one of these 2 guys. Who do you take? ...which part of that are you ignoring?

You are starting a team...Francis is the choice...case closed.

If I'm building for the future - SF and hope.
If I want to win a ring - SN and time.

I love Stevie. He's a very good 'shooting' guard. But to be the leader, he MUST work on his vision, his smarts, his handles, his defense, his leadership, AND HIS PASSING...period!

I'll give him until year 5 because SN wasn't too bad last year either...

    NJ Rocket,

I would NEVER build my team around a smallish guard. I always think with equal talent you take the taller player.

I answered the question as well as I could.

They are both 6'3" 195....obviously, if you would take Nash, you'd have said so long ago....let me answer it for you...

NJ, I would take Francis but I really don't want to admit it at this point.

Nash is a good PG, But look at his team, Finley, Nowtizki, lafrentz VAn exel. of course they will win alot. Nash is a good pg for a already good team. He knows how to pas the bal to a good scorer, and he can hit the open jumper.
francis is a player who can make a bad team good. I would take Francis over Nash anytime. i like Nash but i Love Francis

Very, very unfair comparison simply because of the teams.

    Finley
    Dirk
    Lafrentz
    Vanexel
