Let's be honest, he is not that skilled at basketball. If you shoot like him, and dont play defense, your not getting alot of play. Brain cook saw more minutes then him. All i am thankful for is he buried that game winning 3. Other then that, he was not fun to watch. Him playing defense was not something anybody like to watch. i actcully felt sorry for hime sometimes..oh, well..Go overseas and kickass
I think he can go to China and be a megastar. I heard you don't need much defensive skills, much less dribbling skills there.
I am not too surprised he hasnt been signed yet but then if Brian Cook could get a contract Novak sure as heck should have been able to. I thought he may have taken the vet min and signed with the heat. They can always use another shooter to help spread the floor in situations and he has ties with Wade. Oh well he had a good run i wish him the best
Steve had a lousy season last year. He shot .310% from behind the arc. Considering that it is his only skill worth mentioning, I wouldn't be surprised if that leads to Novak finding that his future basketball career is in Europe or China, not The League. A very nice guy, but also very one dimensional. Who knows? Maybe he'll find a 5th dimension that'll pay him a salary. Air Bud, in my opinion, has just as sweet a stroke and can do many other things, as well. All he needs is a bump in his confidence and he could easily fill the role envisioned for Novak when he was drafted. A big bonus is all those other goodies he brings to the table.
The only thing they share is white skin. Those comparisons are baseless. Budinger can be so much more than spot-up 3 pt specialist.
Novak by far. With his feet set and time to draw and shoot he was deadly. The problem is that Chase can do everything else pretty good and Novak can do nothing else good.
