    don't pretend you were the only one... i got his jersey his rookie year too. (had it personalized/made before his actual jersey existed)

    never said i was the only one that had them - probably the only one that has two though after he signed mine that summer i could wear it anymore (well i could wear it but couldnt wash it anymore so i wasnt going to wear it if i couldnt wash it) so i had to get another one customized


    well that makes two of us that have novak jerseys!

    Semi-related, the "breakout model" to follow years ago was Dwyane Wade for for Steve Francis to make his comeback. That the league has gotten MORE GUARD FRIENDLY and Francis STILL couldnt cut it says how drastically he fell off.

    Rudy T's vision is coming back alive with the Anderson and the Novak types. Come on, Montiejunas :eek:

    Chase Budinger is a good one.

    You can add Kevin Martin as another player worse than Novak at defense.

    Novak was probably at Bud's level defensively, if not worse, when he came into the league. Plus, he had the misfortune to begin his career with a defensively minded coach in Gundy and a playoff bound team with not a lot of room for rookies.

    He's really improved his defense, though. And this should give some hope for Budinger.

    Defense is 90% effort, (to Bud's credit he's been defending better since he got benched.) This is why I think players like Amare and Melo will never be "Superstars", the only player in recent memory that was a superstar with only O was probably Steve Nash.
