No way this happens, Phoenix would be in need of a shooter at point. I imagine they'd opt for a shooter at the 1 AND 2 guard spots since they can stick turk at the 3 or 4 and have him be the facilitator for their offense. Nor do I see them as willing to spend as much as Lowry's price tag on a backup since they'd probably continue to start Dragic because of the shooting thing in your scenario. I also don't think they'll be incredibly excited over the Knicks picks unless it's the upcoming swap right because, even then, it's not going to be worth a great amount, considering they very well may sneak into the playoffs this year.
It would really tie Adelman's hand to have two starters that have to have their minutes limited in the regular season.
nash almost 20 shots tonight and only 6 assists....it's gonna be a looooooong season for that team. No rebounding and nash has become their go to scorer, along with Hedo...i wonder how long it'll take for him to request a trade?
This is the official Steve Nash watch. I'm actually looking forward to them struggling. Good luck with Hedo and Warrick, Nash.
Nash for Brooks,Jefferies,Hill and JT. Seems quite fair, they get a prospect with nice potential in Hill and a Borderline star young Pointguard in Brooks, could also replace Hill with Patterson if they wanted him instead. While Rockets get NASH, and nash will make players like Battier look like Lebron and Budinger look like Bird
I'd guess Orlando would be the likely destination, this trade if it happens though, will be sort of like the Drexler trade we got 15 years ago, they take a loss, but its as much for goodwill over someone whose given their career for the team but just couldn't make it over the hump.
although i could see riley going after him (lol), it would certainly glue that team together, plus make them completely invincible....
