Get him back to Phoenix ASAP!

But yeah, this year or next year, you hate to see it end this way for him.

Lakers don't care about the money. That deal they have with Time Warner means they can pay luxury tax for a LONG time without worrying about finances. Nash's 9 million is a drop in the bucket for them.

And Nash is not gonna retire, no freaking way. He will come back next season and get his money as he should.

It's not about money, it's about cap space. That Kobe extension was painful. If they didn't have Nash's cap hit next year, I could easily see them going after something like Chris Bosh+Kyle Lowry, which would bring them right back into respectability, if not contention.

And who knows, if Kobe is half decent, Lowry, Kobe, Bosh, some high lotto rookie like Jabari or Randle, that team could get interesting very quickly.

But now it's going to take longer.

You're missing the point. I want the Lakers to suck forever.
Nash and Kobe being greedy? I LOVE IT.

    Fk the Lakers.
