Also the only reason Nash's scoring is down is because Walker takes all his shots. He only avgs like 11 shots per game, yet is still avg close to 15 points per game and 8 assists. Unlike francis, Nash has actually proved something in this league. Getting his team to playoffs, getting selected by the coach's for all-star games and being selected to the all-nba 3rd team twice. But hey....doesn't nothing compared to what Francis has done right?

Unless Nash is considering the MLE, this is a pointless discussion (actually, it is anyway). We don't have cap room, and Dallas isn't going to S&T him to us.

Like I said before, if a team does not possess a dominant player like a Shaq or Duncan, that team must have a point guard who is able to utilize all the talent on the court. This is not a besmirch on Steve Francis, but Steve Nash has demonstrated that he revels in getting his teammates going offensively. Dirk Nowitzki and Finley both say Steve Nash is a big reason why they have been successful in Dallas. The last team to make the Finals without a dominant player was the Jazz, and everyone knows how important John Stockton was to that team.

I think he'll stay and resign with Dallas. I don't think he's looking for max type money, even though some like Bibby gets paid that. His best chance at a championship is with Dallas and not Phoenix or Toronto.

The Rockets tend to play better when they're running.

Nash will get the MAX from Dallas. If Finley got a MAX extension when he was 32 years old, and Lafrrentz got 10M per season, then Nash will get the MAX.

So, aside from going back home (Canada), why would Steve Nash think of leaving his 2 best friends, favourite coach, supportive owner, and title-contending team?
