That has to be the worst time to say "love you" is when you are in jail trying to get someone to bail you out. It seems like that was the first time she said it as I don't think she would keep saying it if McNair's reaction did not respond in kind. It is like a Seinfeld episode or something. I think she was delusional and telling herself they were in love. Meanwhile, Steve was just looking for some action on the side. She's going around saying they are in love and going to get married. Steve may have been playing her for obvious reasons but she sure was stupid. She set herself up for an all or nothing. She was too chickensh_t just to take her own life. She had to take his, too.
Well there are pics of them on what it seems like a vacation of some sorts. If he just wanted some action, he should have kept it local. You take a girl on a trip and of course she's going to think there is more going on than just sex. So Steve must have been somewhat attached to her. I mean, he did buy her a car.
Uhh...the police said she was responsible for the payments so he must have only co-signed on the loan or provided the down payment. She was frustrated cause she was also paying on her pos Kia which no one would buy. I bet she owed more than the Kia was worth.
I believe he was 36. But still, these guys making millions of dollars have agents, lawyers and financial advisors. I find it hard to believe that with those types of folks in his life he didn't have a will. That being said, if he wanted his wife to have it all, then he saved soime attorney's fees.
Some guy on one of the Titan boards says that his sister had waited on McNair and his girlfriend late one night at a Nashville area Waffle House. Did he think he was going to get away with that?
Not sure how you got there. The sister of some guy that posts on a Titan board told her brother (who posts on a Titan board) that she had waited on McNair and this girl late one night... at a Waffle House... in Nashville... within the last few months... where McNair is a celebrity.
Sorry, when you said "his sister" I thought you meant McNair's sister. And I thought you were implying that she would tell his wife.
Investigation reveals final hours of McNair, girlfriend http://www.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/10/20/qb.killed/index.html The girlfriend of former NFL quarterback Steve McNair had grown frustrated with their relationship and was struggling with financial difficulties in the days before she killed him and herself in July. Steve McNair, former NFL quarterback, was a married father of four when he was killed last summer. Details of their relationship were revealed in a case summary released by Nashville police Monday. McNair, 36, and Sahel Kazemi, 20, were found fatally shot in a condominium in downtown Nashville on July 4. Police have since ruled their deaths a murder-suicide. "My life is just s--- and I should end it," Kazemi said the night before the couple were found dead, according to Sonya New, her shift manager at a Dave & Busters restaurant. New also said Kazemi was not her usual self and seemed down. Though McNair was a married father of four, he was seeing Kazemi and at least one other woman, Leah Ignagni, according to Nashville police. McNair had spent the night at Ignagni's apartment on July 2, two nights before he was killed, Ignagni told police. On the morning of July 4, Kazemi texted McNair, saying she was stressed and needed money to pay bills. "Baby I might have a break down im so stressed," Kazemi said in one text message. "baby i might need to go to the hospital. baby whats wrong w(ith) me i can hardly breath(e)." Chris Wall, who provided security for McNair and his family, told police he knew about McNair's relationship with Kazemi. McNair was tired of her calling when he was with his family, Wall said. Kazemi continued to text McNair throughout the day, asking for money and when she could see him next. "baby what are u doing," Kazemi asked. "At the pool with the kids. I got the guy transferring the money," McNair replied. At 4:04 p.m. on July 3, Kazemi said, "baby I have to be w(ith) u 2nite. I dnt care where." The messages continued for more than eight hours before McNair said he was on his way to the condo. He had told Kazemi earlier that he wouldn't leave the house "til the kids fall asleep." McNair and Kazemi exchanged a final series of messages early July 4, when he asked her to leave the front door to the condo open for him. A final message, sent at 1:14 a.m., simply said, "its open." About 12 hours later, a friend of McNair's found their bodies
Must be tough for New, who had hints of the probable suicide... You should ALWAYS take someone's threat for suicide seriously... and help... no? Doesn't this help more people realize that these signs are a cry for help?
