She said, "i love you" to him at the end and he just replied with, "bye"...kind of lol'ed at that. Seems like that incident, along with the 4 hours in jail, gave her a lot to think about and probably sealed McNair's fate. Sad.

First of all, McNair has no game off the field. Considering who he was, he still had to make false promises and parade a below average looking, trashy hoodrat to exotic locations to get a means to his ends. Yes, most girls are crazy, but they are only as crazy as you lead them on to be. McNair paid the price for being a 36 year old who tried to spoil his mistress like a daughter, instead of letting her know her place.
I think he mistook dementia for desperation, and picked a bad apple. One wonders if he might not have done this as often as other athletes; agents and entourages should be able to screen and/or dispo$e of the problem groupies. I bet he could have landed all kinds of chicks who wouldn't have cared one whit for a long term relationship; who might've actually treated him like a notch on their belt.
