I take for granted he's talking about Curry and Durant too when he talks about creating a contact like it's cheating :rolleyes::rolleyes: cause...for a dude who is coaching Draymond Green and Zaza, guys who are literally punching/kicking and trying to injure players around the league, talking about Harden as the one who tries to cheat when he's just the best player in the game when it comes to create contact well, that would be embarassing. Especially said by someone sucking the refs dick after he got already plenty of help in these last seasons between illegal screens and technical fouls not called against them :rolleyes::rolleyes:.

I'm glad D'Antoni isn't so petty that he has to run to the media to try and push some agenda about other players in the league and how they play.

You'd think that as a former player himself, Kerr would appreciate the play of any player in the league and what they do in order to be successful. Game respects game, and all that...but alas, he's proven himself to be a whiny little B who knows that Harden and the Rockets may have his number this year. Instead of crying to the media and playing this "aw shucks" schtick, how about you read up on the traveling rules? How about you coach your defenders not to reach so Harden's rip move isn't effective? And since you hate that rip move so much, why don't you call out Durant too? That's probably who Harden learned it from, anyway.

Nah, just whine to the media. After all, that's how narratives are controlled these days anyway, right?

Was he arguing this is a thing that only *other* players get away with, but not his players? It didn't seem to me that he was directing his comments against any one or any team in particular.

In an interview with Bill Simmons earlier this season, he explicitly called out the carry as a thing that's called differently today compared to when he played and mentioned Durant by name as someone who takes advantage of that. So why assume, in this instance, he isn't also referring to his own players as benefiting from this new way in which the game is played/officiated?

Didn't one of his players do a rip move so often that the NBA had to make a rule for it?

did he forget he has a couple players who do that all the time. The guy has been trying to get the refs to stop calling fouls on Harden or call travels just like his last "accidental tweet".
Steph, KD and Play all do the step back three specially Curry and Durant.
Also Curry flops a lot flails his arms after a shot. even when he doest get touch at all. He does it to get a foul call. Durant is the guy that does the swing and shoot. Thats why they changed the rule from a shooting foul to a none shooting foul.

Kerr just picking on Harden because he is dominating and playing well. Also because we got the best record and he is sweating it already. Kerr scheme is to criticize Harden as much as possible before the playoff , so that during the conference finals refs start calling those "travels" on Harden and don't call fouls on his warriors. And then complain about the officiating if the calls aren't on his favor.

Let's not forget about his dirty players. Green and Zaza . kicking peoples balls aint cool and bring to hurt the teams best player is not good at all.But is Kerr even complaining about that? thats worst than flailing or flopping that at least is a smart way to get a foul call the other is just dirty play.

kerr is a whinny little b****. Surely no one notice he as talking about Harden even though he said " a lot of Players" do that.

We should make a video clip abut all of Harden's drives or shot attempts where he got fouled and didn't get call. and another of him getting foul when he did. get the call. that way people can stop crying about him getting so many free throws and saying he didn't even get touch. just like that moron Stephen Ass Smith today.

Those so call analyst never even watch the game. you can tell by what they say. they just get the box score and "analyze". Like when Harden got 60 in his triple double everyone was saying it was against Orlando and it didn't count in their eyes because Orlando sucks. if they Had watch the game they would have seen it was close game and Orlando had the momentum and they were hitting every shot it seemed.

Calm down....the move that Kerr is criticizing in that video is what Harden used to do LAST YEAR where he uses his off arm to hook the defender's arm and then flail to make it look like a shooting foul. That was clearly not OK, and the league decided to call that an offensive foul; rightfully so.

90% of Harden's moves are totally within the rules where he baits the defenders to reach and slap Harden in his forearms and hands, which the refs can't do anything about. Harden just needs to make sure that he doesn't do the 'hooking the arm thing' anymore, because that particular move was especially egregious.

Harden is living in Kerr's head rent free. This pu$$y has never been more shook and I cannot wait to see them in WCF.

I think it’s safe to assume he was speaking of harden specifically.

The “harden rule” was created to combat this exact move he’s speaking of.

He even uses his right arm as his “off hand” when making a demonstration. For the record, Kerr is right handed...

Kerr's comments are correct and he wasn't singling out Harden at all. Is he really saying anything different from what Jeff Van Gundy has repeated complained about on broadcasts?

If Kerr was an analyst and not the coach of our number #1 rival for best team in the league, would anyone here be interpreting this as a dig against our team?

Hardens face would make much more sense in this picture rather than Morley's.

Yeah, good point about the demonstration at the end. He clearly had Harden in mind with that -- because Harden is unique in the extent to which he used that exploit last year. But the general comment about the league protecting shooters more is of course accurate and is a league-wide trend. Not Rockets-specific.

I think it’s started out genuine about it being difficult to officiate. But it clearly steered towards harden as it went on

As a basketball fan, moves that purposely bait for fouls shouldn't be allowed. That said, until they do something about it, I have zero qualms about players doing it.

Yeah rip through moves are terrible but sending Bogus and Porkulia to deliberately injure players is fine
