So this didn`t take long. Sony Pictures Plans Steve Jobs Biopic So who should direct and who should play Steve Jobs? My choice would be Jason Schwartzman and Demetri Martin for the teenage Steve but both would probably need a Nose Jobs. Daniel Day-Lewis or Stanley Tucci as the older Steve. As for director I would curiously like to see David Lynch take on it. Tom Hooper, Ang Lee, David Fincher, Danny Boyle, Shekhar Kapur because they all have great visual sense and know how to tell a story.
PIXAR should make an animated movie about his life with the lovable Robin Williams as the voice of Steve Jobs.
I think it's a bit soon, like the Ali movie. Let the legend grow a bit. But, it's better and more original than another 80's movie remake.
If it gets greenlit now or in a few weeks they will still need at least a year and a half to get everything done before a major release. That will be enough time imo.
