Could it be that the players didn't execute the plays? Is that a possibility?

Could it be that the plays are one player dribbling for a half hour then gunning?

Not according to Rudy, he actually coaches the Rockets.....are you like the towelboy who listens in on the plays or something? How do you know?

I'm a DIE HARD rockets fan man!! I watch all the time, like right now...

Let me ask you again, is it possible that the lack of ball movement is caused by the players dominating the ball and not executing Rudy's offense? Or are you blaming it 50 percent on Rudy, 50 percent on injuries, 0 percent Steve?

The lack of movement is caused by the lack of plays.

Steve had another solid performance. 21 points, 13 boards, 5 dimes. He had some great passes where players missed open jays. He could've easily had 10-12 dimes.

This is not the same offense as last season. Last season was NOTHING but isos. This season there's a lot more movement. Like tonight's game. I saw a lot of movement, everybody seemed to be involved. Albeit, it was ugly at times and there was a lot of bad passes, but there was movement.

It is just slightly different, but it is far from being good.

Well I can't disagree there...i think in the 4th quarter they put up a pt comparison.

    1st Quarter - 29 pts
    Since - 31 pts

That is pretty bad. But it will get better.

Quite making the "if guys were making their shots, he'll still have 5-10 more assists" talk, its annoying....Jason Kidd would average like 15 assists if his teamates made their jumpshots?

He's not a great passer yet, you've got to face that fact! Many of his passes are kickouts or dumpoffs if he gets stuck and has nowhere to go...MANY...including mobley...I'm not hating, I'm just stating the facts.

Steve hit Mooch for open jumpers like 3-4 times, and Mooch missed them. Most people would've nailed them. The Rockets shot aweful. Steve had a terrific game.

Not sure why I'm wasting my time...

Steve did have a good game today, who says he didn't? Most people would have nailed them huh? But did he?

Early on, it was obvious Steve was trying to set his mates up, but they weren't making the shots. BTW, Moble is in the zone 80% of te time. He's that damn good..

I'm giving Steve a break until Mo and Rice's 3rd or 4th game with him. If Rice and MoT have played a few games with Steve, and Ming is through his first 7-10 games and Mobley remains on fire (knock on wood), I expect Steve to average 7 assists. But only 2 TO's. Then, for each turnover, he should average 2 more assists.

For now, I understand that Cato, Griffin, Ming, and Boki aren't exactly an offensive arsenal. Cato is barely decent, Boki and Ming are trying to adjust, and Eddie is just shooting horribly.

MoT and Rice should fix this though, even from the bench if necessary.

30 points, 10.5 boards, and 5 dimes a game is pretty darn good. His assists will go up big time when Rice, Kenny, and Mo are back.

ChenZhen, how many times have you heard Francis apologist say
"Steve's not a real PG, he's a shooting guard so he should shoot not
    pass."

OR, "Mobley's job as a SG is to shoot, not pass."

    Excuses, excuses, excuses....

    Well, I say...

Jordan was SG, yet he could set up the easy assist.

Bird was a SF, yet he could set up the easy assist.

Kobe is a SG/SF, yet he can setup the easy assist.

Face it Francis and Mobley just don't have that high level basketball IQ.

So, please don't anyone use the *he's a SG not a PG* excuse.
