I like Francis and I agree he doesnt deserve all the bashing he gets here. And ya, the McGrady trade was pretty stupid....FOR ORLANDO.

Don't like Francis. Liked Cat. Cato was a waste.

I just wished the trade would include Mo Taylor too. Never been happier about this trade.

    GO ROCKETS!

Say there Rocket fans. Stevie Franchise will be a free agent next season and would surely LOVE to come back to Houston, where he is loved and detested, but at least has a lot of friends. After a horrible 2 seasons with the Knickerbockers he'll have few options for big $.If it wasn't Carroll Dawson's last year, I would guess the Rockets would be that lead-headed and do it, but if he's super cheap and enthusiastic maybe they'll do it anyway, especially if T-Mac proves he's not reliable health-wise for a full season. If this happens I will laugh so hard and probably watch more games than I do now just for the drama. Certainly I will read this board more! Think about it

I like Francis, but I recognize his faults. I think he gets an unfair amount of criticism, but there is no way the trade for T-Mac was a bad one for the Rockets.

T-Mac is on a different plane of basketball existence, and the team is better now.

    That is the bottom line.

    DaDa - t-mac *is* a Winner?

That Series against the Lakers [4 HOFers and BOB HORRY]
    we were competitive and exciting
no laughing during a 40 Pt Blowout in Game 7

The trade reminds me in a sense of the Barkley trade
    It *did* set us back
Cato has not been replaced. . hate him or not . but he was a good backup
for Yao . . Mutombo is too old
Cat has not been replaced. . Bonzi and or Battier
    could do this

I think this is the year we will see if it pays off
until now. . . no matter what people say
    it is still a wash

Talent Wise. . this is one of the best Teams in a while
the Talent on those SF teams was not that great
no matter how people wanna revise history

I'd much rather have Cat back than Fancy. Maybe there would be some way the Rockets could get involved in a three team deal that sends Fancy to the Clip show, Cat to Houston, and Howard to the Knicks.

i think steve's a great pg to have if he has good teammates, but i cant see him being anything but a lone star..if he was really that good he would have made his team mates better, not dribble the ball and try to fake his opponent every...he over dribbled the ball like no ones business but i thought he was a pretty decent pg. (his to's were insane for the stats he was putting up..) i think the trade orlando did was completely stupid, look at their team now...they were lucky to draft howard. without him that team is horrible..cat went to sac and steve went to the knicks wtf? they have nothing left to show for it...haha o well at least we have tmac... :(

Actually the Trade was working out for everyone
until Weisbrod got cute [Started thinking he is TOO SMART]
. . . and trade Cat for Christina Christie
then it all when to sh*t in Orlando

Up until the Orlando was on a roll and going to the playoffs
Christie comes and disrupt Team Chemistry
    and
of course her husband was crying in the fricking living room watching old

i saw the game the other day when the Knicks played against Cleveland. boy, Francis looked lost out there. Marbury was the primary ball handler and Francis hardly had any touches. most the time he was just roaming the perimeter, watching. kinda sad.
