For anyone that cares, he was on the Lavar Arrington Show yesterday and said he's working out and trying to make a come back. Said he's going to have three or four teams looking at him in a couple of weeks. Heartbreaking to leave the Rockets the second time, but it wasn't his team it's Yao's team that go around. He talked a bit about University of Maryland and Gary Williams and his recruiting.
Thank god he's doing sports talk shows and not 24 hour reality video streams like Marbury. I love SF but it would shock me if any team picks him up.
Good luck steve... By 2 or 3 teams he's got to mean the shanghi sharks or another cba team. No way he makes an NBA roster.
i wish stevie the best, in my opinion if he never left the rox in the 1st place he might have been still playin great, it killed him mentally when he got traded. good luck steve
I wish Steve the best but I'm not sure his style is suited to the NBA anymore. The era of the iso basketball has proven itself to be a failure. ISO players like Marbury, Francis and to a point AI are no longer as highly coveted as they once were. Hopefully Steve will stick, I would love to see him get some minutes in a team. For many years he was the heart and soul of this team. He never failed to give Houston his all.
Steve should just give up... I mean I don't mean to get down on him... but you have to learn to accept that it's over... even if you went out on a bad note... I'd hate to see him try and then no team signs him even for the vet minimum.
I wish the best to Stevie Franchise. I grew up with him as the leader of this team, and i hated to see him get traded, and just wither away. I dont think he will make an nba roster either, but i think it would be good for him to go out playing decent, even if it is with a euro or possibly d-league team.
I wish him the best of luck. Realistically I think his career is over but I hope not. For all of his faults Francis is a good guy who loved the Rockets. Its too bad things couldn't work out differently.
